Tire size question - help!

New to the site - hope someone can help with a tire size question. I have a 96 GT and recently acquired some nice 18" rims with tires. I just don't know if they will fit or be too big and rub under the front fenders when turning. The car is in storage until next week, so i haven't put them on the vehicle just yet. The tires are 245/45/18 - does anyone run tires this size on their SN95 mustang? Any issues? I'd hate to have to ditch the rubber fror a lower profile tire....

Thanks for any advice anyone can offer.

I have H&R SS springs and 245/45/17 fronts, 315/35/17 rears. My fronts rub at full lock in either direction.
