Anyone running OEM bullets w/ AM staggered?

Just wondering if there is a huge difference in color differentiation between the stock 17x8 bullets and the AmericanMuscle 17x8/9/10.5. Reason is I want the deep dish 17x10.5, but don't see the need to get 17x 9 up front unless the stock rims are not going to match. Thoughts? Anybody doing this? Also is the finish on the lip highly polished from AM or just plain finish etc etc. at shows I thinkive seen both.
Thanks.

I THINK the lip is polished.
I haven't had stock wheels for 5 years now, I'm trying to remember.

Same type of color, but it is slightly different. Enough to tell.

They're both Anthracite, but unfortunately the colors won't be identical. Every manufacture uses a different powder coat/finish etc... so getting wheels from two different locations buts you at risk of not being identical. I do think they'll be close, however from a side angle you may notice a slight difference.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance in the near future! I looked into doing the same, but the fact that the color isn't an exact match was enough to convince me to just step up to the 18" Bullitts instead.

My buddy runs the 315s on 10.5 anthracites from AM with stock 8s in the front. The difference is not noticeable unless you're looking for it.

I'm going to do the same thing and if it really bothers you just upgrade then later down the line if its a financial thing because the whole package is 1200 I believe and just the rears are $600?

That's a lot of coin or a slight barely noticeable difference.

For me, the wider front tire was necessary. I autocross regularly, and front grip is real important, plus I want as balanced of a set up as I can have with staggered wheels. I am currently running 275's up front and 285's out back. Running an 8" wheel up front and 10.5" out back will definitely create some understeer, but it will be fine for a drag set up or for a daily driver.

Yea ill probably end up doing the deep dish and just see how it looks. At a later time if it really bothers the crap out of me ill get the 17x9 up front from them. I just forked out cash for 4 new 245/45/17s so I'm going to get some use out of them first considering putting the rims and tires on craigslist maybe will get me $400. My car is mainly just DD/weekend warrior and I've had 4 sets of wheels/tires on this car it its 11 yr life. Time for set number 5
