Stroker kit

Has anyone put a stroker kit on there 2v motor ? Or is that a whole new motor that I have to buy ?

There is stroker kits but there's not much room on the stock block for boreing you can make a 5.0 out of it but that's pretty much the biggest your gonna get without a after market block

Ok I thought the 289 could be bored out further. Are the kits expensive ?

The biggest I've seen is a 5.2L and that is a 323 ci

I just ordered a 5.0 stroker shortblock from Jdm engineering in New Jersey ill let you guys know how the project turns out

I'm going to get as many pics as I can throughout the swap and post them all.

Built 5.0 stroker shortblock
Race ported lightning heads
Stage 2 comp cams
Full bolt ons
Vortech v3 should be fun

My fuel system is gonna be maxed out at probably 450 so once I upgrade the fuel I'm shooting for 550 whp

The easiest way is to just buy a built stroker shortblock from mmr dss mod max chp or any of the large scale builders but it will be more expensive than piecing it together and having a shop build it.
