New member with questions!

Goodafternoon to all, im a new member of the forum looking to get a new mustang currently driving a bmw e46 model m package.
My questions are what do you look on a stang 99-04 when you are going to buy?
What should i check?
What years are better to purchase?
Whats difference between 2v and 4v engines?
What should i avoid on a stang?
Please be patiente with me im new and dont know anything about mustang but every comment will be appressiate thanks you guys a lot.

Are you looking for a 2 or 4v? The 2v only came in the gt and bullitt. The 4v came in the cobra and mach. I would look for any leaks under the car, diff and engine same as tranny. Make sure no weird noises coming from the engine, drive it with the windows down and no music to see if anything might be worn out on the suspension.

Ok we'll then the cobra and the Mach one are out

So ur looking for a gt or maybe bullitt
Just make sure to take a look under car see if anything is leaking like the rear end tranny and oil

And also if its a stick go in and out of gear make sure no weird noises
And see we're the clutch in gauges
