Whipple makes great superchargers.

Was there a question?

My buddy loves the Whipple he put on his GT500 and there's a local guy with the Mammoth Kenne Bell putting down over 800 before he started feeding it a steady diet of corn..

Gonna have to really beef up that T-56 or go to an automatic at the power level a Whipple or a Mammoth on a Termie will make. IMO anything more than 550-600whp really needs to be auto swapped unless you are a huge power road racer.

Either blower is great, get whichever one you feel is best, fits your needs best and is a better buy.

What size and what are your goals. What supporting mods do you have now?

yea its not as simple as bolting on the whipple and driving off into the sunset, may require many more supporting mods depending on what you are going for~

I keep forgetting you have a Terminator. Dude if all you want is 520whp just get the stock blower ported out by Posi and roll with that. WAAAAAYYYY cheaper than a totally new supercharger and will support the power level you want.

Posi

520? I make 490/490 with a steggy.stage 5 port. No need to waste money on the crusher setup. Just get a 2.3 and leave the stock pulley on it.

Yeah but you are still running a stock unported M112. Steggy used to be really good, there have been issues lately. Posi is a boss and will port your blower out to flow as much as it possibly can.

Lowflyn, swap out your stock intercooler with one that flows more air and cools better and I bet you pick up a pretty good chunk of whp.

Posi is no longer in business. Steggy has not had any issues I know of since removing torque plates.

I won't pick up power with a larger heat exchanger...just won't lose as much due to heat. I use my ice box regularly.

Wow a lot changes when you don't pay attention... Glad to hear Steggy is back up and running like he used to be. Seems like every time someone comes up with a great product it doesn't ever last... Like Velocity intercoolers...

It was turning into a second full time job for posi. He decided family comes first. His blowers are carrying a premium.

Op, I bought a steggy stage 5 minus torque plate with billetflow non slip 2.76 pulley and accufab plenum for $600. Sold my factory blower for $300. Basically paid $300 plus a tune for 500 hp. Went ahead and did 60# injectors, billetflow sbtb, kb bap, sct 2600 maf, stage 3+ clutch, 26 spline input shaft and mcleod tob retainer. Not near that was needed but I can bolt on a twin screw and have 650 hp with a tune at this point.
For 550 hp go ahead and do the mods I mentioned. A new fuel system really isn't needed for that power level.
