Appearance

Looking to do some appearance mods on my 02 GT, any suggestions on what you might do? Also, not gonna do the lowering springs for now waiting a bit for those.

I was thinking about the mach 1 3 piece grill delete and the chin spoiler. I did go with the smaller antenna though went with the 14 inch so that way it stays with the top of the car but not that huge 28 inch skyscraper of an antenna.

Alot of mustang owners like the OEM look, but I say forget that and be unique and creative !

Mach 1 lip, Mach 1 grille delete, you really NEED to lower the front of these cars, they look like crap with that stock 4x4 stance. They do look good with the spoiler deleted too but you have to fill the holes. Also tint, fill the letters in on the back bumper with stainless or whatever color inserts and anything else you think looks good to you.

Also fat tires out back looks a bazillion times better. Looking at a stang from the back with stock wheels... 245s tucked in like 4-6" from the fender lip really does not look good IMO.

I'm trying to make my interior mystichrome at the expense of getting sandbagged by everyone on here. I want to find a mystichrome leather shift boot/e brake boot. Seats/steering wheel.

Thought it might be a fun project.

You are going to drop a stupid amount of money trying to find stuff and find it in good shape. I mean it will be cool if you do get it all and all but if it were me I'd just do a super clean black/charcoal and call it a day. Which is what I did with my 98.

You're right Scotty because even used mystichrome seats are in the upwards of 800+ but I'm in no rush on this project so ill take my time looking for things. If not ill probably go black/charcoal

This might give you some ideas: Tinted headlights/ tail lights/ 3rd brake/ quarter reflectors, mach 1 chin, mach 1 grille, 8" antenna, Plasti dipped wheels, lowered 3/4" (stock), brushed aluminum fuel door (stock).
