need help car wont start!

Hey guys when I got home today I tried cranking my car up. But it was like my battery was dead. NO electricity whatsoever, so I jump it off and went to autozone, they checked my batttery and said my alternator and battery was good, this makes no since considering it was as it it was dead 10 minutes prior

Bad connection at the alternator, maybe. Also if you un hook the battery the check light will go out. But it will come back on eventually.

Well they are wires that just bolt to the body idk where exactly you can follow the one from your battery also did you clean the terminals before you put them in? New battery's have a film on the terminals some times

funny thing is the same thing happen to my gf about a month ago now...she drives a grand prix. I checked it all and it still wouldn't do anything, no lights came on no door chimes nothing, wouldn't even jump off. when i pulled the battery out and put it back in everything started working as its suppose to and haven't had the problem since...still to this day don't know what it was. All i know is it better not happen again

I did buy a battery about three years ago that acted like that. For about a week it worked fine then it appeared dead. They tested it and it appeared fine but the voltage level may have been fine, but it had no arse(Amps to start t engine that is). Exchanged the battery and all was fine.

Dang sounds like your having a hell of a time. I know this sounds dumb but did you check all your under hood fuses? Man when i had my 04 VW i wasted so much money replacing stuff...still no power at all, ended up being a damn little fuse

Yeah but you say only for a little? So the fuel could seep through when the cars off but when you need more it cant get any
