I was racing a m5 on the highway yesterday and lost the hood scoop so I thought it might look better without the wing since the hood scoop flew off and went off the bridge into the water

New Edges, IMO, always look better with no wing on the back unless they are a terminator or a 99/01 Cobra with the swept back wing and then it should be moved 2" further back then it comes stock.

My wing is pushed back about 2 inches too.. I like the wing but without the scoop I think it might look smoother or something

I might leave it off for a little and see

I like wingless. It's much cleaner on your car. I feel like cowl hoods almost need a wing to make the back pop instead of falling apart into blandness.
Is that a cobra badge I spy on the front quarter panel?

That's typically not a good idea.
It makes you look like a poser.
You have a GT, put GT badges on it.

Boooo! Lol jk man. I think its fine if you got a clone that has been sc'd and can hang with the stock termi's. as long as you're not lying to someone if they ask if its one like especially when trying to sell.

---------- Post added at 02:05 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:03 PM ----------

I honestly dont lie many appearance mods. Performance ftw. Lower, tint, wheels and you're good imo. But everyone has their own style and their own car and has a right to do whatever will make their car look better to them. Unfortunately even ricers do.

I have cobra wheels, but the car is badged as a GT and is clearly not trying to look like a cobra.
The difference is that guys with a bumper or wheels or whatever aren't badging the car as a cobra, and you are. It's the same as a ricer putting a type R badge on a base model civic.

I have the gt badge on the back of the car I just didn't like the anniversary badges if you know anything about stangs looking at my car you know it isn't a cobra.. I had someone ask me if mine was a six cylinder with the other badges on it

---------- Post added at 12:38 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:37 PM ----------

If I could afford everything I wanted I would have the cobra bumpers too lol

And if you raced a ricer (at the track) and for some reason you happened to lose they would see the cobra badge and think they beat a cobra, then they would go to all their ricer buddies and say how slow cobras are. I do think the badges look cool, but its for that reason i don't misbadge my car.

That different those are styling parts not badging parts..

Go spoilerless and lose the cobra badge. Yes since we know stuff about stanges we can obviously see that it isn't a cobra . But not everyone knows all about stangs. Btw cobra im cobra bumper and spoilerless xD, but it is your money, do as you please

It's just a cheap $20 badge, that's not exactly nice.
As far as whether or not to have a wing, wingless looks way better with the stock hood like I said a bit earlier. Your car is sexy, just lose the pretend cobra badge.
