I prefer insanely loud!!!! Honestly, I want my car to be in sync with me and express exactly how I feel at that given moment. For the jerks that wanna speed up in my rear view mirror " VRRRRRRAHHHH!!!!" , for the idiot that wants too cut people off in traffic and decides to pull that stunt with me "VRAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!" Or the chick that's not paying attention on her damn phone when the light is green I wanna scare the religion out of them. And lastly the too cool shades people that wanna take all day and time as if the world evolves around them crossing the street while you wait to turn "VRAAAAAAAAADAF*"%OUTTADAWAY !!!!!" Lol

meanest I've heard : ARH LONG TUBES w/H pipe and Bassani X pipe w/ SLP's

Well hopefully you aren't one of the asshats who "VRAAAADFA*#**#&)" through a 25mph neighborhood especially at night when my kid is trying to sleep. She sleeps though anything now but back when she was really little it was hard to get her to sleep. I'm not saying you are I'm just saying that is super rude and uncalled for by the ppl who do it.

I don't care if someone has loud exhaust just so long as they are respectful in a neighborhood.

Agreed ive got this neighbor, only old guy on the street surprisingly enough is the only loud one. He sits there and revs the hell outta this open header chevy truck hes working on all day, its so annoying! Theres a point when loud is just irritating instead of mean sounding. I feel bad for the neighbors just even starting my stang cause i leave at 4 am

Yea I've waited so long for this moment, I don't know whether X or H but nice made my mind up. I'm going catless until I get too much heat, then put some M80's on later. Save up for long tubes next year

---------- Post added at 10:39 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:37 PM ----------

Probably Bassani or JBA X pipe with my SLP's

As fun as it would be to make that much noise how does it sound inside? On the road I wouldn't mind that noise. In the neighborhood I would hesitate.

Inside its not as bad as you would think but being on the highway in high rpms can get annoying but nothing your music can't take care of lol

To be honest the commentary gives a better idea of how loud it really is in person. People know if somethin makes someone else say "good lord" or "holy *****" its pretty damn loud lol

I have stock mid pipes with 2.5" piping catback with magnaflow magnapack and to make it sound the best and fill up the gap stainless steel 3.5" tips. Everyone can hear me fine going down the road and no drone. When I rev up near cops they smile and give me thumbs up.

Very true but I'm going to sound like an old man here and say "value your hearing". I did this for 2 years in my 1991 GT with shorties, offroad H and dumped 40 series flows. I HAD to turn the music up to full blast almost to drown out the drone. Could not near my radar detector, could not hear myself think, my ears would literally ring when I got out of that car after a drive more than 10 or 15 minutes on the highway and the 2 hour drive home was... ugh...

My 95 even with an offroad pipe and shorties was great because of the dynomax catback I had. That catback could scream and hurt your ears at full throttle but would be nice and mellow at lower RPMs. Same deal with my current setup which I love.

/old man hat on

As I've been saying, there is a difference between sounding good and sounding loud. IMO super omfg loud is just obnoxious and totally uncalled for to set off a bunch of car alarms or piss ppl off. I mean I don't know about everyone else but if I'm at work and have to stop what I'm doing to go out to the parking lot to turn off a car alarm because of some a-hole flooring it around the parking lot or side street that is just dick.

Also on another note I have seen ppl get pulled over and slammed with fines for no cats or too loud of an exhaust, even in states that don't inspect. My buddy got nailed with a big fine in Wisconsin for an offroad X. 1 fine for noise and the other for removing emissions equipment. Cops do have every right to tow you away if you have no cats on the car and have fun with the impound lots if that happnes...

/old man hat off.
