Buying 03 Mach 1

About a month ago, an electrical fire claimed the life of my 98 GT. Now I have been looking to replace it with an 03 Mach 1. My GT was the newest mustang I have ever owned and I'm just curious if there is any common problems, or easy mods for it.

It's a better platform, more power, handling, breaking interior. As far as looking them over just look under and listen to hear anything that might not sound right

Mack's are awesome cars stock. You'll love the Mach. A buddy of mine has one. He doesn't deserve it though, he dogs it 110% of the time but said he hasnt had any probs with it.

I too love my Mach. One thing to keep in mind about the '03's is I believe there was problems with spark plugs popping out due to them only having a few threads screwed in.

I think Ford fixed in 2004.

The one I'm looking at has the 5speed, I wouldn't get it if it didn't, and the pervious owner put a short throw shorter in it.

I was looking at an 04 but the guy wanted to for it. It had 120,00+ miles on it and the 5 speed grinds going into 3rd every time. Didn't what speed. So I found this 03.

Biggest thing you will notice is way more horsepower compared to a gt stock. You are going from 2v to 4v which is same thing cobras have just yours is all engine. Also dont bother yourself with really a cai since you will be dealing with a shaker system. Congrats on the buy man, I personally can't wait for pictures.
