Paint question.

Ok so long story short my engine is being replaced in a few weeks when I get $1500 for an engine that is used with only 30-40k miles on it. I'm thinking of painting the block ford blue with black valve covers before I swap the motors out. Doing this to spruce up the engine bay for car shows in the future and because I don't want a plain Jain boring engine lol. I'm also debating between red and black leaning more towards the blue and black as blue would look better in my eyes. Anyway the question is has anyone done this before and what paint did you use if so?

Here's some ideas. I personally like the blue valve covers look.

Do they include a tube of lube with that engine because at $1500 you'll need it...
