Gears for supercharged

What are the best gears for supercharged applications? I know 4.10s would be a little steep unless you have major suspension upgrades. What about 3.73? 3.55? This is more for knowledge's sake, I don't have a supercharger yet. And I suppose the type of charger would also be a factor too.

I like 3.73 and how they drive for basically any motor setup. 3.55 wouldn't be much of a difference over stock

Max I would go with a supercharger is 3.73. 4.10 you will be shifting every few seconds.

No but I've got two friends here that have 4.10 and the other has 3.73 and the 4.10 are terrible for it. I have 3.73 but just a bolt on car right now and it's perfect for me too

You should put the blower on and then try to see which ones would you like or maybe fit best.

Well it depends on how much hp it will put down. That should determine gearing IMO.

Don't have one, like I said its more just something I was curious about. I figure you could get away with steeper gears on a centrifugal, and probably need longer ones with a twin screw

3.73 is perfect for 460hp.

Maybe 3.55.
