Nitto 555r will most likely be your best bet for good dual purpose tire

While Nittos are not the best drag radial as far as hooking up, they are great for someone who wants a stickier tire that won't wear out in five thousand miles. I hook up great on my Nittos, not as good as I did on the BFGs on my Cobra but much better than a regular street radial. Just be aware that Nittos run a little narrow compared to other brands. My 315 wide tires out back are exactly flush with the 10.5" rim. Here is how mine fit.

265/40/17 Nitto 555s on a 17x9" rim up front:

315/35/17 555Rs on a 17x10.5" Rim out back:

IMO, for a combination of grip and tread life you will have a hard time finding a better tire than the Nitto.
