Are they inserts or vinyl?

Well the inserts I've seen in metal so they are probably easier to maneuver. Vinyl just clean the area, spray it with a soap and water mixture, peal the vinyl off the paper spray the sticky side with the soap and water and you'll be able to move it around on the bumper. Then use a sqeegy(how ever you spell it lol) to get all the bubbles out

+1 Just did mine a few months back, easy-as...

Some of the letters will catch the slightest of breeze and flap around like twitter pics of anthony weiner, so be sure to spray the backs of them (sticky side) during removal like DSG sez. It may require an extra set of hands, some are more dextrous than others

I used a mix of baby shampoo and water for my spray bottle application, fwiw

+1 On the extra set of hands. Also do it indoors or on a not windy day. I had a little problem with the S and it folded up on itself, I ripped it a bit peeling back apart, you really cant tell, but I know its there

My buddy did the red letters in a black mustang bumper by himself no problem just following the directions...dunno. Stainless ones just stick in there with 3M adhesive and is as simple as just prepping the letters and sticking them on.

Way easier to do the stainless, like... WAY easier lol.
