Crank shaft

Check engine is on . Code is cam shaft censor , changed that. Light stayed off for 15 mins . Came back on, then changed the alt it lasted about 8 months then battery was dead , put new alt in it. It runs and is hard to start but the cam shaft censors code is back on ???????? Someone said it was a ground issues ? Help please

Check your grounds, they can get crudded up over time and cause all sorts of issues.

Wont a bad ground not let the alt charge the battery as well?
