Appears to me you are gonna do what you want to do despite the common concensus. It's always a thread like this one that makes me wonder why bother to ask for opinions.

Paying someone to weld up fake tips is absurd. You'll get more respect by just leaving the openings in the bumper empty. If you cannot afford a true catback then save the money you are paying dude to weld up your fake facade,.....and wait.

Yeah man I have seen it. The only thing about that, is that I will have a piece of the roush kit and not the whole thing. I hate when ppl do that.

If you don't like what I am posting in this thread then you didn't have to read or comment in it. Ppl like you who think they have to give their input on everything are the dumb ones. And btw I'm not paying anyone to do anything. I have friends that will do it for me.

I understand that I may not be the "normal" thing to do. But if everyone did the same thing that everyone always does, nothing new or original would happen. I understand that everyone is entitled to their opinion and I'm not downing that. The only thing I have a problem with is the way he approached the situation and the words he used. I appreciate everyone's input and I have taken it all into consideration, but I still am going to move on with my plans. If it looks good then ill stick with it, I not I will undo it and admit that I was wrong. No harm done.

But if you ask yourself this, why hasn't anyone already done it? And why isn't anyone saying to do it? It's your car but usually that many people against something are almost always roght

I did have to read it,........otherwise I wouldn't have to offer my opinion.

But since you think I have to give my opinion on everything,...

You asked for opinions in your thread. And nowhere in my reply was I wording my response that said you were dumb. I said the notion of paying anybody to do what will amount to something you decide against is absurd.

Do what you want w/ your car.....just don't get your undies in a bunch when you ask what I, (or others) think next time.

Alright well I'm tired of getting ganged up on so....

Y'all are right, I'm wrong. I won't do what I want to do with my car just because y'all think its "absurd" or "ricey". Forgive me for trying to think of something creative to improve the look of my car. My bad.

Sorry to put my .02ยข but maybe depending on your setup u could do side exhaust since u have dumps or rather the side exhaust look. Or possibley even a saleen s197 look muffler which is in the center of the rear. Imo i have seen ppl put fake exhaust tips and yes while it doesnt function or throw smoke or anythjng the fact of the matter that it will still make u look at the car with fake tips u really wouldnt know if it was fake at all. I have seen a caravan with a body kit and "dual" exhaust tips and i say it did look nice and made me second guess it for a second whilr i was raising it on the plant. I wasnt disappointed cause i know its a single but the fact that the ownet made it clean to complement his car was points in my book. Now im sure most of u disagree with his idea for welded tips however lets face the reality that it aint your car so he has the final decision. Whether we like the idea or not atleast respect the decision since im pretty sure we all at one time have had a post or wanted opinions from others to modify our ride ro make it stand out. As for the spoiler imo spoiler less is cleaner but so is the saleen spoiler since its nice and low and complimentary to any mustang since it gives it an aggressive look. Do what you feel you would like op if u want dual tips do it if u want a spoiler do it. In the end its your car and im sure u have a final look u wish to achieve with it. I wish u the best of luck on your goal.

Get a mod to actually make your car go faster. "Tips" are not expensive and should have come with your catback... a spoiler... dude get gears or pullies or a tune or something to make you not a ricer. Then worry about cosmetics.

My car is my DD I don't want to throw money into making It faster. I don't need 500 hp to get to work or school. If this car was my toy I'd add more power to it. And adding slp tips aren't going to making it a ricer

Your car won't make 500 without lots of $$ lol and if nonfunctional tips are done right then yes I wouldn't mind seeing that but when you can clearly see that am they are fake and just half assed without even trying to look for that then it's crap. You could tell that they are fake without looking under the car
