First off had my 4.10 gears installed and dyno tuned at precision auto sports in Xenia ohio. They did an excellent job at a reasonable price, if you live in ohio I recommend them. I believe anyone who says 4.10s are too much gear have never had them before. They are perfect. The shop charges $120 an hour for dyno time. I was wondering if that is a good price, or what prices elsewhere are.

I think the 4.10 gears are awesome, I have a 00 gt with few upgrades and it would still snap your head back. I smoked the gears out and put 3.55 hoping for better mileage but regret it all the way

I live in Illinois $120 an hour is the going rate around here $50 for a pull, I also think 4.10's are awesome but gearing should be chosen around your mods

I bet it sound nice, I swapped my delta 40 for the super 40 flow master but hardly noticed a difference. I would like to get long tube headers but heard the work is extreme

All two chamber flow masters have about the same tone

So $120 sounds about average. Short throw and o/r on to do list, saving up for cams now i believe.

Its about 100-25 a hour for n/a and 180-200 a hour for fi here in cali. Most good tuners just have a set price of 500-600 for the tune. That way you get 2-3 hours on the dyno and they can dial in a good tune for you.

+1 the dyno shop near me charges $150/hr but they mostly do $600 and guarantee a 3 hr period for your tuning

Going rate at local speed shop in cincy is 120/hr. however there is a guy in Ross that does $400 flat rate even if you have to bring it back. A lot if guys here in cincy swear he's the best for stangs...that's where mine is going for the fi tune

$600 for a good dyno tune is the standard rate confirmed by multiple shops. Worth it but IMO... get a Moates QH and learn to do it yourself and never pay for a tune again.

I wish my HS had a dyno... would have been fun just to use even though I think the fastest car we dip****s had was an 89 bolt on 5.0 Mustang. Probably good for all of 220whp at the very best...

Although this was back in aught 1... I love being able to say that, I will make an amazing old person.

That's cool! Wish my old high school auto program had a dyno, it'd be fun but for precise tuning I'd have it done by a pro

Around my area tuning goes for roughly 150/hr or some shops have a flat rate of 500-600$ whether your on the dyno for 2 hours or 8 hours.
