Honeycomb Decklid from American Muscle.

I finally got my honeycomb decklid in the mail and I couldn't wait to put it on. Spent about an hour and a half putting it on and I hate it. It does not line up right with the trunk lines. This is the worst quality thing I have ever received from American Muscle and usually everything I get from them is great. I will post pictures when I get a chance

I chose not to get that because I throught it looked weird. So I purchased the vinyls from them and I am glad I did. They line up great and look awesome. Contact AM. They will make it right.

I love the look of the honeycomb, I am just not impressed by the way it lines up with the trunk lines.

You can see the line of the trunk above the honeycomb parts.

I just checked their website and looked at customer pictures and placement seems to vary which tells me it may be how it was installed, not the product itself. One of the reviews said it was hard to get it placed correctly and once it's on, it's on. Another reason I liked the vinyl. It was easily manipulated. Did you feel like it was hard to get it placed?

The way the shape was didn't allow me to line it up with the left and right sides as well as the top line, it was one or the other

Send it back and get a refund. Am will do that. Those honeycomb didn't fit mine either I have a whole thread on it.

And I'll sell you my complete original 99 anniversary set for a hundred twenty bucks with the emblems.

Of course it's a perfect fit, a little dusty but these pieces are in perfect condition.
