Sometimes when you install them you move the needles a bit too far down and they contact the gauges. I have to tap the plastic to unstick them and then they move no problem. And as for the wiring I believe you have to tap into the large brown wire or gray I can't remember.

When I did mine I ran the ground wire down to a screw on the fuse box under the dash.

What the hell is all this talk of wiring? Am I missing something? Every single time I've ever done new gauges/overlays all I do is pull the needles, lay the gauges on, put the needles back on and go. Obviously record where everything was first and get everything accurate. Put the needles back on with power to the cluster and make sure you take a picture beforehand so you know exactly where to go. Start the car for the tach and place it right where your sweet spot is at warmed up idle. For the speedo, I drive around with a GPS and the cluster cover off and play with it till I get it right.

edit: If these glow gauges do require some other source of lighting like if there is a wire coming off them for ground/power. Just tap into your ground/power... find a wiring diagram and splice away. Not rocket science.

The ones I got do not require you to remove the needles. But you do have to wire them if you want them to glow blue. Pretty sure you want to tap into the brown wire alos. Lastly, if they dont lay totally flat, the needles will rub, I glues mine down tight.

Buddy bought his car with it installed, nothing lined up, speedo was way out basically it sucked so I ripped it out without him noticing. Lol. Back to normal.

I hate to say but that's a ricer thing. Go with some tough looking gauges instead.

You shouldn't have had to remove needles and that's probably why your having problems

I like the black gauges but reverse glow so you can only tell a difference at night
