Raxiom projectors

Would I need to trim any for my 98? I know on the 99-04 I didn't have to trim to make it fit.

No trimming required! The Raxiom Projector headlights fit perfectly on a stock 94-98 Mustang. Were you looking at the smoked or chrome set?

I purchased the smoked halos

They shipped them Friday and should be here Wednesday if you haven't got them yet before I get them I will let you know how the install turns out I have a 98 as well

Only thing I'm worried with the install is that I have hid lights now and I worry if that will be a concern

The only real reason I've heard that they state not to use HIDs is because of the heat they put out and they can't guarantee the housing will hold up to it. Also just letting you know if you have HIDs for your stock 9007 bulbs it will not fit into the new projector housing. Different bulbs I believe the kit you are buying comes with H3s so you'd have to buy a new kit

I will see when it gets here, I don't care taking out my HIDs and selling them but I'm going to do some research on here and see what I can find about having HIDs in halos but your prolly right I will take in what you say and see what happens

No none at all at first I though I was going to have to cut it like they said just turn out I had the piece push to far in and it did not line up just right but I got it just took me two hours I took my time plus they didn't send me the splice connectors and that pissed me off so I had got a blade to cut the wire and electric tape and hook it up like that but I got it so now I'm happy with it

Well they didn't come in busted or broken they was already inside the headlight ready to go, the low beam is h3 as they call it, I really don't know much about it or how to even replace it if I had to something I would have to look into, the high beam is your standard light bulb it was pretty bright the low beam might worry me, I didn't get to take it out for a drive because the wife was ready for me to come inside but I do like it the look but for the lights itself and as for diving at night I'm really not sure yet
