which body parts interchange between 04 cobra and 04 GT Mustang?

last year I purchased a light roll over mustang GT 04' model, with the intent to rebuild it. Well I have been looking for a donor with a roof, well I found one a few weeks back...so I have been saving up my money to buy it, so I can start the change over roof, PS front fender, PS door etc.
well dang it today I found a wrecked 04 cobra and just have to know, how many parts will bolt onto the cobra off my GT.
I know the rear end (8.8) doors, fenders, etc. but was there anything special about the cobra k member or anything like that?
I have a 5.4 that I would like to put in it sooner or later, thinking I may have almost every part with the exception of the transmission. What else is different?
thanks in advance...

To the best of my knowledge, all of the parts will interchange.

Everything is interchangeable. If that 04 Cobra still has the drivetrain in it you are golden but if you are thinking of a 5.4 (which I would not do) then I'm guessing it does not have the driveline still.

drive line/train are long gone. however I am perfectly fine with the straight axle out of my GT, which I will use. I have a clear title, the correct vin number for a cobra....so I do not have ANY fear modifying such a stripped out COBRA....before I would have cringed at the thought, well not with this one.
I found her there like an old broken down whore, used up, beat up, and stripped of all her dignity, however I still see her beauty, her timeless curves, her potential...and I will bring her back to life better than ever...stronger faster, sexier than she'd ever known....ok starting to sound like the million dollar man intro lol

Just make sure it has a clean title, if its a salvage title you are just flushing $thousands down the toilet. I mean that is pretty much how it goes with performance vehicles in general but when a salvage title comes into play you'll be lucky to get half of what you would for a car with a clean one.

I will definitely keep that in mind.
since I do not have much invested in the 04 GT and I wont have that much in the O4 cobra, I don't see how I can go wrong even if it is a salvage titled car.
Now if I had spent a lot of money on it, and had a lot in the GT then I would rebuild the GT with the donor roof, door fender etc...
I will however be posting a few pictures In the upcoming weeks...

You can go wrong with a salvage title car because it is a salvage title car. You'd be better off with a clean title GT than the salvage title Cobra and that is fact. Everything swaps so take what you want out of the Cobra and put it in the GT. Just be proud of your GT and keep the GT badges.
