Mach 460 aftermarket harness question!

I installed an aftermarket radio and the rear speakers work great but I'm barely getting any sound from the front? I have a 98 GT with the mach 460. Do I need the harness with the RCA adapter to plug Into the radio? Like the Metra 70-5510

It has to be a loose connection. I did use a harness on mine becuase I wanted to keep the stock amps that comes on the mach 460. But if the rears are working I dont know why the front wouldn't. All you did was change the radio or did you add other aftermarket products?

You have to bypass the amps on the front speakers, I ended up just splicing my speakers into the tweeter wires. It works just fine and sounds good.

It's a crude drawing but this is what I did. If I did it again I would go with the harness

I have about 3 cables that are unplugged and no harness on them. They are the 2 square plugs that went into the original HU. They have an adapter which is the metra 70-5510 RCA

I bougth it years ago but this one should work http://www.amazon.com/Metra-70-1771-...+radio+harness

And for 5$ bucks you can't go wrong. Is a plug and play easy to use, ans you would be able to use the amps stock. Btw if you buy speakers please go with components and you won't have any problems.

I already have that one. I'm talking about the other 2 gray wires that are square
