Headlight help....

Ok so I bought the smoked lights from am they are awesome. Look good easy install blah blah.... Can't see?!??! Bought the platinum bulbs and still can't see so today I bought a 60 dollar set of sylvania Xeon hid attitude bulbs guy at work said they are "badass" if these wont work and help me see better at night is an hid kit actually moving up? I've heard so many different things. I live in the country and it is vital that I can see 100% at night. Any thoughts on this is appreciated. Help me not have to put my factory headlights back in!!! Ha

The smoked lenses do make it hard to see at night sometimes. Although the Sylvania Xeon HID kit should more than do the job for visibility! Give it a try and let me know what you think. If it's still too dark for you, shoot me a PM with your First/Last name and shipping address. I'll set you up for a return and full refund!

With smoked lenses I'd go wit an HiD kit for sure. Visibility isn't even comparable with halogen bulbs

Ok so what is your suggestion? What's a good brand good price and what level is the best I've read things like 5000k-10000k if you could give some insight that would be great I have never played HIDs so any info would be helpful

I've had 8k always I like the color of them but it's personal taste. I just bought an 8k 35w kit from ddmtuning.com I've never used them before but I will let you know how I feel about them once it gets dark tonight. They have pretty good prices I'd check em out.

DDMtuning.com is my personal favorite. i've run them on all my mustangs without issue and i love the price and warranty. VVME also makes a good kit. If you go with an Ebay kit be sure to read feedback.

i love 35w 6k kits however for smoked housings i'd look into a 55w kit. it's what i needed when i had tinted housings.

lower numbers are more white light, higher # go from purple to blue. hid 's consist of 3 parts . bulb ballast and ignitor. some ballast don't like higher # bulbs. DO NOT buy cheap ebay bulbs they will burn up ballast. use Phillips or osram bulbs. I agree HID far superior

You would need new ones...however on those projectors I would not use HIDs but halogen/zenon bulbs due to melting the projector. I know the new ones are HID rated but not the ones for sn95s

Even when you buy new headlights they usually suggest sealing them. Just pick up some clear silicone at your local hardware store. Let the new headlights sit in your house overnight to dry, then seal them around the edges. Just try to have a consistant line of silicone with no gaps. You will see where the plastic lens and the housing have the gap, and thats where your line of silicone should go. I just did it to my headlights and now no more water. Pretty simple

Also, I am about to order my HID kit from DDM Tuning. I've heard only good things about them and, for the price of "HID Attitude Bulbs", you can get a whole kit of actual HIDs. I would look into them if I were you. Good luck to ya

if you're dead set to run HIDs and your projectors take h7 then yes. just know light output goes down in most cases when putting HIDs in non HID projectors.
