Hmmm, honestly doesn't sound like the greatest tint place. First they aren't around then they don't have the right tint and tell you you can't make a new appt... then they tint over the defrost stuff...

Looks good now but that tint in the back WILL peel off if you use the rear defrost a lot in the winter. I dunno I would have taken my keys and left when the guy said he didn't have 20% I don't care if they were already working on it. If he won't let you leave you call the cops and results will follow.

So if it does peel you can take it back and they'll fix it for free?

I really need to go out and get this mother tinted... did the shop you used go right over the rear defrost conduits or did they cut the pieces individually and lay them in between? My buddy had a shop that did that and it never peeled ever even though he used it alot during the winter. If you live in a place that gets ice anyway.
See in California no doctors note will allow you to put tint on the front windows. Sucks, but I'm going to get 20% all around anyway.

When I got my Stang there was no window tint. Lol I hated it. First thing I did was tint the windows. 5% back/quarter and 25% front windows. Looks great now. Lifetime warranty. ✌ Gonna get tint above my windshield next.

I have never heard of a place that cuts strips and fits them in between the defrost lines on the back windshield. Do you know how long it would take to do a tint job if they did that? I have only seen progressional place tint the entire back windshield. The tint place i got to has lifetime warranties on all of their jobs. It sounds absurd to cut like 15 individual strips.

Dang that's harsh. Lol looks kinda weird to me if the quarters and back are super tinted and the front is clear.

My buddy had it done on his DD, it looked really good. Said the entire tint job cost $250 and that was back in 2002 so it'd probably be more meow.

That sounds like too much work. I had my whole back window tinted, over the whole thing. All of the tint together cost $150

My previous car they tinted right over the defrost lines, I had it for 5 years and never an issue, never peeled or anything. But for the dot matrix at the top of the rear window they actually put on a matte black vinyl strip. Looked great.

Wish they would've done that for mine. Do you still have any pics of your precious car's tint?

Not sure where you heard that lol my buddy owns a tint and in his 15 years has never done or heard of cutting tint in strips that would look like hell. We live in Canada so defrost is always used... It'll be fine
