Suspension mods

I just want to beef up the suspension a little bit I'll list some things from Maximum Motorsport's so reply with other things to help and thoughts on things listed below.

Subfame connectors.
4-point k member brace for stock k member.
Panhard bar.
Torque arm.
Upper control arms.

If you run torque arm and panhard you won't need upper control arms. You want lowers for sure along with the subframe connectors you were looking for.

They both have their benefits and act in different ways. But pair them together and you will have a great handling and nasty hooking car

If you're going to go so far as to do all MM stuff and a TA/PB then why are you buying those? Just get the MM K member kit with coilovers and get your shocks from there.

Also the subframes are one of the few times where I'd recommend another brand than MM, get the Steedas. They come with plates that weld to the mounting points first, then the subframes weld to those. If you are near NJ call Wicked Motorsports, he gets deals on them and installs them all the time.

I'm going to do one eventually... With a FTBR kit which should be mandatory for any IRS.

Find a 99 and upgrade the diff/halfshafts yourself. People think the 03/04 units are made of gold... with the beefed up stuff but wheel hop is the number one killer of IRS's and if you cure that the lighter duty units can take a pretty good beating.

I've already got an IRS. Unfortunately I didn't do the kit when I swapped because I was cramming everything into the last few weeks before going to the track. The guy with that one for sale is parting out his Cobra and asking dirt cheap prices for everything. I could pick up a 2000 Cobra R kit for $450, he has the amber taillights for $50, full midpipe back exhaust for $150 etc..

Get the UPR kit if you don't want to spend a lot of money and get a lighter k member and coilovers. You'll save almost a grand over MM but it won't go around corners as well. Still better than stock tho.
