Question about springs

So when i get back from camp i'm going to cut my springs a little bit, this is kind of a noobish question but which part of the springs do i cut? People have tried to tell me before but i just need a visual representation so just tell me left/ right for the spring and what part of it i cut.

Cut from top..
Make sure to measure both springs so they are close to even.

I've cut both my lowering and stock springs
No problems
Just make sure when you put them back you place the spring with the bottom pigtail facing the exact position it was it..
