Advice

Ok so I have a 96 gt auto, all I have on it is a k&n cold air intake. But I plan on getting a tuner next. I have heard ppl say to get 4.10 gears if its auto and I've heard ppl say get 3.73 if its a daily driver which mine is. But I can avoid the highway. If I don't go over 70 mph with the 4.10 gears, will they still effect my gas mileage?

I have the same car auto as well and will be getting gears one day soon. Not really wanting to get tires for the 4.10 gears. Will 3.73 still be badass for the car? And what's the limit on top speed and highway driving?

If you don't do 150mph runs then top speed should be your last concern. Just go with 4.10 if you get 3.73 and don't feel much difference then you'll be upset. Go big or go home.

There isnt a big enough gas mileage difference between the 3.73 or 4.10 like very one else says go with the 4.10 you won't be disappointed

Depends on your goals. If you plan on going Forced Induction go with 3:73 I had a 4:10 before and good for NA

Hi....I have 4.10s in my 01 gt auto. The are good. Tach is about 2800 at 80mph. I almost wish I got 4.30, but I am happy with them. The pull like a bat outta hell. Dont fear the gear

I would say for the 2v 4.10 auto is the best bet. It needs all the help for na to get up. But it all depends on if you're dd the car or track
