Mgw Short throw or Bama Tuner?

Don't know which to go with. Plan on getting 3.73's in the future but don't have the funds to pay 620$ to get the gears an tuner all at once.

Then do the shifter and wait for funds. Gears are worth every penny

I would do the tuner first, so you have it. Then save for gears, so you'll be able to adjust the speedo when the time comes. Last would be the shifter in my book.

They're all fun upgrades though! It can be hard to choose.

Gears will be the biggest bang for the buck. You also don't need a tuner, you can just use a speedcal which you can get for 1/4 the price of the tuner but then when you do get the tuner the speedcal becomes obsolete...

Also unless you are DIY on the gear install I'd call around and see what the shops near you want to do them. They SHOULD be $150-$300 at most but a LOT of shops think they are entitled to charge double that or more for no good reason.

Gears>Shifter>Mods>Tuner

Just my opinion, I really don't see much of a increase with the tuner unless you have bolt ons ..

+1. The only thing you physically touch is the shifter, and its a pleasure to row through the gears every time I get into my car. As for the tuner, it's a great mod, but I got used to the power increase in less than a week.
