Making an 04 gt 270hp?

What mods could make an auto 04 gt reach around 270hp I'd like it to feel like my cobra.

Well for cheap CAI, gears, exhaust, and a tune. Roughly 1k versus supercharge it more like 2k.

270? Just your bolt ons and a tune I suppose since the gt is already rated at like 250 (not sure the exact number)

260 crank, i assume he wants 270rwhp as that's what a stock cobra would put down.
With you being an auto it would take a cam to achieve that number. Full bolt on manuals put around 250 to the wheels.

Maybe full bolt ons. Gears don't add hp but they feel like they do. Pulley, intake, intake manifold, full exhaust, dyno tune and maybe you can reach that

+1...if I had all the cash at the moment, I'd just go all out with full bolt ons, decent set of cams, dyno tune, and be in the 290ish range

I wouldn't put any money in a 2V unless it was a full build. Just my honest opinion but like said above......full bolt on,dyno tune ect.

2vs are hard to make bog #'s out of unless you go with built motor and a lot of nitrous or a lot of boost 25 lbs +. not worth it to me.

Ok so ill just leave the gt to mostly stock. I have a couple questions. I've decided to keep the cobra as I'm getting raped bad either way trying to sell it. Ok first question is I know I have a cobra engine in it but my car hit a tree about 7 years ago and was rebuilt about six years ago by idk who. So I have three possibilities. 1 my engine was rebuilt 2 I got a new manufactured engine or three I have one out of another doner car. Seeing as my engine doesn't look spotless and car was totalled at 87k miles and odometer reads 120 now how can I tell if the engine is originally mine. Do they have vin numbers that match on the engine to my body? And I want to make at least 300rwhp I have x pipe exhaust 4.3 gears short shifter sct tuner cai. What could I do to reach that?

Full bolt ons, 4.10s, tune, 2800 rpm stall converter and a j-mod. Will not only feel like your old Cobra it would probably make better 1/4 times...

No just cai, 75mm throttle body, headers, shorty x pipe, 3.73 gears, and a custom tune from a guy we know. I might missed a few things but now hes supercharging it.

A really good tune can do wonders. Might just be that spot on.

I believe this 100%
A shop out here call Houston Performance does wonders with proven sheets of the parts with before & after numbers.

Each engine has a vin number to match with the car check to see if it mached research on Internet your engine specifics cops do it to identify stolen engines or parts
