Random plug under steering wheel?

I am hoping this plug is for my mach 460 amps. I can't find where it plugs into. It's underneath the steering wheel in the top left corner. Can someone please take a picture of theirs?

I have a 98, I can try to gander under it but no promises, my garage is narrow and its raining now so its hard to see and its not coming out till tomorrow at the earliest...

Never dealt with that wire IIRC and I had the entire interior out. I do NOT have a Mach system in my car though.

Boom, that should be the brake light switch... are you sure your brake lights are working?

Blurry but you can see it

Honestly if your volume is all jacked up it is either a bad ground somewhere or the amp is shot. Honestly... factory amps are horrible. I've deleted them in every Ford I've owned and just ran off the built in amp of whatever headunit I buy (usually a Pioneer) I have.

Yes they work but that is unplugged. And I don't know where the grounds are. It's really irritating me what can I do ?

Might be the cruise cutoff switch then. I don't know I am really good with almost everything on the older Mustangs EXCEPT wiring... I HATE wiring and it makes my mind hurt... Which is very fun when I'm on the road for work and I have to chase down a gremlin...

I'm an idiot, that's the clutch safety switch. Go me... I really don't know lol. And it looks like you are an auto from the one pedal which would be why its not plugged in.

Are you running an aftermarket stereo or the stocker?

Lol! Yeah some guy had aftermarket HU and I hated it. He messed with all the mach 460 wiring and I'm so close but I don't think the amps are turning on

I'd just bypass them like I said... they suck. A decent set of four pioneer speakers and a pioneer headunit with the factory amp/amps bypassed sounds better and that is fact.

I would do that but the car isn't worth it. Needs a paint job, driver side door regulator. Has 140k miles
