Bama hand held

I have two stangs. 2001 v6 and 2003 gt. My hand held tunes is for the 2001 v6. I'm having issues with my 2003 gt. Can I use the bama hand held "just to read codes" for my 2003 gt? Any tips if I can or can't? Thanks in advance!

So by you saying "married" means that you didn't have to put your stock tunes back on your 96? And it worked fine on his? I'm afraid to read codes on my 03 with the tuner that's meant for my 01.

Yes you can use the device to read codes on a different Mustang. That's completely safe and normal. You just can't tune your 2003 with the device still married to the 2001. These devices are vin locked to one vehicle at a time!

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance in the near future!

Quick Hijack, Bailer do you know if SCT will get rid of the tuner locking after switching between 3 cars? Just like Diablo now allows you to tune as many cars as you want if you return the vehicle to stock.

Yes. As long as it's OB2 your SCT should read the CEL's!

I'm not sure if SCT will get rid of this feature. I know right now it's 5 unlocks. If we hear anything from SCT, I'll definitely let all of you guys know!
