running to rich at idle

im running way to rich at idle and at part throttle. i had a "custom tune" done by rick at amazon tunning solutions but now he is MIA. im running 30lb injectors with my stock mass air meter could that be the problem? evan with the custom tune? and i did raise commpression too. any ideas? or a new place that does email tuning?

You cannot just swap MAFs (or injectors) and hope to get lucky. The MAF curve and injector settings in the tune have to be coordinated to make them work together.

Have you data logged any operating parameters, do you know what the short term fuel trims look like when idling and running at part throttle?

How rich is it, do you have a wideband O2 system?

Have you changed anything since the tune was written/flashed?

You need to see what the short term fuel trims (STFT) look like, failing front O2 sensors will make the engine run rich┬╣ and as long as the STFTs are less than +25% there will be no DTC thrown...

-----------------------------------------------
┬╣ -- As narrowband O2 sensors fail their output voltage drops. In closed loop mode the PCM interprets this as the mix being too lean and tries to richen it by adding fuel (via the short term fuel trims). Running rich for an extended period will damage narrowband sensors.
