Squeaky front end

My 2000 squeaks when you turn the wheel? I have heard other Ford vehicles from this era mimic the same sound. Anyone else have this and what is a good bushing replacement to eliminate this irritating sound.

Ball joints. Moog ball joints are a very hood replacement for them imo.

There is also a squeak or creaking that it's known to come from the steering rack. There was a TSB released on that, replacement steering rack mounting bolt sleeves fix the issue I believe, I think they are like $12 from Ford.

It was my ball joints as well. 2000 GT, squeked every time until I replaced the ball joints.

Thanks for the info guys. I have it in the shop, just have to get it in the air and start the process of elimination. I have heard the same sound from F-150's of the same gen. Must be a common problem with the late 90's/2000 Fords
