Painting my calipers

Hey guys, getting ready to repaint my calipers and I need opinions on color combinations. The calipers will definitely be red. My question is, should I do the brackets red as well, or paint them silver?

Can you post pics of the car so we can get a good look at the whole car to see what goes best?

I like the red silver as opposed to all red.

Shows more attention to detail.

I believe I'm going to actually end up doing the bracket black. I have chrome wheels and the rotors shine when clean and I think the silver would get lost. What do y'all think?

Send them off to get powdercoated if you have the funds. That'll look better than anything.

Black would look good, or red with the silver. Not all red though. Too much

To each his own but I think you have to be crazy to pay that kinda money for covers. I can buy ALOT of paint for that kinda money. And the work is easy and I get to say I did it all myself

So I'm gonna bring back an old thread, how will red caliper paint look on a sonic blue mustang? I didn't really wanna go with silver black or blue. I'm just looking for some honest opinions! Here's a pic of the car to better picture it.

My personal opinion is that red is played out. I think yellow would look better

Mine has yellow. Although it's for a different reason than "standing out". Haha and before people bust my balls the car is actually lowered 2". In the pic it didn't have an engine. Haha

Ugh, I need to get some blank PBR front calipers and have them blasted/coated to match my paint. And then rebuild the rear calipers and install the correct Cobra caliper brackets.

I still say powdercoat or bust for durability and longevity.

Thanks for the compliments and replies I think I am going to wait a little and keep looking around. I do believe yellow would look great also! I will look around and see if I can't find something that really catches my eye!

Matching the color of your car is nice too. Mine are red because they are OEM Bullitts but I want to get them powdercoated a metallic blue. This whole car is coming apart this winter anyway so that might be on the list...

I painted mine red. My car is blacked out, and red and black are my two favorite colors. Hence why I went that direction.

For yours though, yellow wouldn't look baf at all. Or black since that's kinda your theme too

I used a set of MGP caliper covers in black that worked out very nicely. Have the "mustang" logo on the front and the "GT" on the rears.
