99 cobra

Seriously considering purchasing this today. Looks flawless, does anyone see any red flags, as far as mods? Seems to be pretty stock, i do see a shift light on the tach as well as a bama tunes plaque under the hood. Rims are obviously not stock. Also would want to call svt to confirm the "fix". I don't know enough about cobras to know if anything stands out. Also how will the IRS compare?

Pretty low miles, I think they are asking way too much plus tax and interest you might as well look for a termi. I honestly couldn't tell much difference at the track than a sra but that's maybe because my 2v was well built suspension wise.

Kbb for 22k with those miles, noone pays wats blue books says tho. What would you feel is a good price? Its my dream car that i would keep for as long as humanly possible, dont want the dealer to know that tho the miles are what has me so interested. Anyone know of any issues, like the GTs had air intake manifold issues?

I would check and see if it got the updated heads or whatever that recall was. As far as driveability with the IRS I noticed a fairly big difference when I swapped my SRA out, it was much smoother over minor bumps.

I saw that. Sweet looking and looks to be unmolested too. I wouldn't be upset with myself paying $14k for that if the paint is as great as the mileage.

Ended up not going. Will go monday when bank is open for business. I would keep my gt too tho and sell it by myself. Not getting raped by trading it in. Made that mistake only once.

I feel it lol. I saw 3 Mystic Terminators at a local car show and the one had 600rwhp. That just made me want to start my build.

Don't expect that irs to hold up to much abuse. It is weaker than the 03/04

On a side note. I wonder what the acceleration difference is going to be between the 99 cobra and my 01 GT due to the fact that I have 4.10s. Im not expecting to be blown away or anything but if Its not different than my GT then i don't see me spending the $ for the extra valves/cams.

Lol..... You will be blown away. Depending on your mods and cobra mods and if the recall was done to it you will feel a huge difference. I have a 99 cobra and my fiancé has an 04 gt auto. My cobra has subframe connectors, 4.3 gears, x pipe, short shifter, cai, sct tuner and the feeling of driving this vs her auto gt with cai only mod is a huge fn difference my friend! On a stretch I can take cobra to 80 mph no time but its a little different driving the gt as it takes alot longer and I'm not even sure the gt has done 80. the IRS feels way better than the sra that's for sure. They are two different cars and you will love the cobra but I would look for one around 7-8 k as 2003 cobras are going for 15-17k here with 60-80k miles.

The only performance mods I have done are my 4.10s, but it pulls hard up to 4th gear.
