Car wont idle..

Okay so this happened maybe a week ago and then it stopped just stopped and started up today again...
For the record my car is chipped( that monitors fume levels and octane levels an set on 93 octane tune ) so a week ago my car started to stop idling.. It would crank( could give it gas and drive it as long as you didnt push in clutch an not continue to give it gas but while driving it would backfire some when you left off the gas around 1800rpm-2500rpm ) but if you just started it the car would automatically shut off.. Then i drove it with 93 in it for about 15mins and it stopped.. I even drove 360miles to beach in it and it didnt do it till we got gas and she put in 87 octane.. But it ran perfectly fine till i got home and started this morning... So now it will idle surge like its cammed ( 850rpm to 250rpm ) and will do then it will finally die ( it will immediately die i a/c is on ) but now it will either idle surge or idle at 500rpms.. So i think carbon is either built up in IACV but i need and want opinions and maybe a defiant answer!!

Yep, iac is what it sounds like. I had a problem with my car shutting off when coming to a stop. Would start and die out with idle surges. Spray it out real good and try that. Wouldnt hurt to clean your maf either

Don't want to sound like a dumb *** but I'm not used to 4.6L lingo yet. Could you guys let me know what IAC, TB and IVAC stand for. I'd like to clean mine as I sometimes have a similar issue. I assumed the behavior had something to do with the cams in my car and it only happens when the engine is cold. But I'd like to clean my engine up as much as possible regardless. If you could point me in the direction of the best way to clean, that'd be cool too !

IACV= idle air control vale

TB = throttle body

I cleaned throttle plate and inside, and sprayed the IACV with carb cleaner( just the open hole parts ) and then i cleaned my intake tube( with brand new spectre air filter ) and put in better grommets to seal better if there was air leaking.. Also better hoses for vacuum too.. Next im gonna clean my MAF up a little and try to paint my valve covers( if anyone wanna give me advice on how hard and how to don that??)
