Ganna be investing in a tuner soon, it's ganna be a bama tuner from AM, but I know absolutely Nothing about them, I don't understand where I get the tunes from or if it come with one? or how to write a tune, or make a custom tune? or anything lol, can anyone make this easier for me and explain how it works?
My mods are bbk cai, off-road x, 315 tires in the back, idk if that will affect anything though, any help is appreciated

I can definitely clear this up for you!

For every Bama Tune we ask you 19 questions about your specific Mustang, including your unique mods and style of driving. This info helps us write custom tunes from the ground-up for your Mustang's mods that will give you the most horsepower that we can safely deliver. We're also constantly developing our tunes! Between our 14 different Project Mustangs and tons of street/track and dyno testing (on our in-house Dynojet 224xLC), we're looking for any minor tweaks to be made that can benefit you guys. We're also part of Fords Technology Transfer Program & Work very closely with Ford to insure that all of our tunes are perfect!

We will pre load these tunes to your device and ship it out to you! All you have to do is plug the device into your Mustang and follow the steps.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance in the near future. Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

Personally love the handhelds from AM BUT... You will see more gains and knowledge from a custom dyno tune it will also be cheaper not by much. Just call around to your local dyno shops for quotes

No dyno tune I've ever been quoted has been less than $600, the bama tuner is what $379 and you get free tunes for life? Obviously you'll get a better tune from a custom one but for a bolt on car the bama stuff is fine. If you are getting into cams or a supercharger that is when the bama becomes useless.
