WANTED: brakes for my 98gt

I'm looking for better brakes for my 98 gt, either cobras from a newer model 99-04 or maybe some off a totaled gt500 or any others stang with good brakes

There's a bunch of Cobra brake sets on Ebay. They usually run $400ish. That's gonna be your best bet for brakes.

How much of a performance upgrade are they compared to the stock 98 gt brakes?

98 GTs are the single piston right? When combined with a street/track pad I was consistently slowing down from 115 down to about 65 in a much shorter distance and with less brake fade than with the stock 99-04 brakes. This was on a local road course coming off the back straightaway.
