vortech v3

Just finished the install and tune of my v3si with air to water intercooler. I took it to the track last friday night and ran 12.2 @115. Im hoping for better time and speed. Car makes 383rwhp at 8.26psi. And I now run 11 psi. Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

If asking a guess on how much hp, depends what other mods you have, my guess would be in the 430 range

I ran the same time with my V3 @ 10 psi. Have you upgraded the upper and lower control arms? Are you running drag radials?

What's your 60' times? I got mine down to 1.66 with BBK upper and lower control arms and a set of drag radials. Improving your 60 will help your ET a lot!

Yeah im nervous about the trans. And I need suspension. Haha a speed of 15.75. I thought it would be a little more like 117 or so. But it was 80 degrees with 55% humidity. So maybe a cool night would help

They handle a good amount of power stock. Gears will change you mph I have 4.10's and my speed dropped over my 3.73's. My best time was in New Hampshire in October.

Pete really knows his stuff. Once I figure out my misfire problem we should meet at the track. My friend has a new 5.0 that Pete tuned that runs in the low 12's also. Yeah I do have a couple of video's posted I hope with my new engine I can post a video hitting the 11's.

Did you blow it up or just building a motor? And yeah that sounds good to me. I also hope to hit 11s with 1.6 60' with my speed.

I run 27x10.5 mt et streest. But 1.74 is the best I could do. Keep in mind ive never launched the car at 6k. I do more like 3500-4000.
