Where is the leak?

Hey all, so I go to hop in my 98 gt and there is a ridiculously huge coolant puddle on the ground. My reservoir was bone dry but I checked all the hoses, radiator and water pump which were all fine. I let it warm up and the only place I could see a drip was somewhere around the back of the engine. Also I have some coolant pooling up on the top of the engine on the

passenger side, the heater core hoses are the only 2 things above it but they arent leaking...What do you all think?

Gah it inserted the pic in the middle. Oh and to those of you who read my last thread about my car bogging down, I now think its just a bad plug due to the coolant cause it started having issues when I noticed a coolant drip a few days ago

Did you replace any sensors recently?

Or done any work? Coolant leaks can be a ***** to diagnose. It could also be the water pump cover or something and your fan can be blowing it back

I checked around and everything else is dry, and since the engine slants backwards a little that would explain where the drip is. No recent work done to it besides a new alternator a month ago. I know my low coolant light has been on despite filling the reservoir but the tank itself isnt leaking at all

I cold started it yesterday and was reving it with the throttle body and didnt see anything anywhere. I can try again today and look more specifically at the lower intake.

Check the nipple on the back of your intake. Where the heater hose clams on to.The intake is prone to crack and leak there also.after the thermostat open is when you more than likely will see the leak .Let us know what your find.
