Mach1vsEVO

Ran up against my buddy's 2012 Evolution

We did like 6 runs
From a 40 I won 2-4 cars
From a 50-60 I won.. Same amount although it stayed with me for a lil bit in 3rd

And from a dead stop he got me lol I was just spinning and spinning grr

My 4v also whoops my friends 12 sti. He can't launch good so I get him most of the times off the line.

Nitto makes a decent street DOT drag radial for 17's. I had them for a while, and my buddy who's got a z06 swears by them, and he launches hard, even from stop lights. They don't last quite as long as a "regular street tire" but as long as you're not doing burnouts at every light, they should be fine lol.

That would be the 555R.



Watch out for worked STI/Evos though, 400AWHP will rape just about anything light to light. On a 1/4 track or extended race you'll reel em in and go right by them if you're in something like a pullied Termi though.

Yeah I would not daily a car with them. Mine is a weekend/nice weather car so they work for me. They hook up like a mofo but that is also because the 4.6L does not quite have the low end that my 5.0 Cobra had. I could blow the tires up at very low RPM by just gooseing the throttle in 2nd. Not so much with the modular... pulls harder up top though.
