Dumped exhaust thoughts?

I understand there's a lot of threads on this but im throwing it out there..

I'm thinking of doing 1 of two styles, ether turn down behind the axle or right before the muffler.. Ether way it would be at a 90 turn down but 45 angle

And I would ether get a V6 bumper or roush side skirts.... Thoughts!? Bad picture but hereeeee

Both mine are dumped right after the mufflers. I don't have any issues with them. No exhaust fumes to speak of, I just turn up the stereo if need be. The bigger question is what kind of exhaust are you running with it? Some are gonna be louder than others, and could be the deal breaker. If that's your underlying reason for dumping the exhaust

My reason is I'm getting rid of all the GT badging and I want to rid the dual exhaust look.. I have an o/r H and magnaflows..

Yeah I'd say go for it then. If you want to keep it stock/sleeper looking go for the V6 bumper. But I doubt a lot of people would know the Roush bumper by looking at it lol.

This is what a cutout looks like. You can place it before or after the muffler. And you can control it with a switch inside the car.

I had dumps in my 91 GT. HATED them... fumes, drone, noise etc... and that was when I was 21 and young and stupid and obnoxious. But that's just me... YMMV. Out of curiosity, why do you want to get rid of the tails so bad? Set of polished stainless 3.5" tips looks sick in the stock GT bumper.

And I'm also doing a sleeper type that's why I was wondering if anyone's had turn downs after the axle? I will be removing all the emblems GT wise and ether filling them or getting powered but ford ones or something of the sort.. Plan on bullitt side scoops with cobra or bullitt side skirts. Because right now my car is fairly quite at idle and a lot of kids/immature people will rev there v6 firebirds and what not at me and I just let them have it. So bassicly I'm doing a badge less car so the have no clue what they just go beat buy..

Roush bumper looks good, but if you want a real sleeper look go with a v6 bumper. Maybe even put v6 badges in place of the gt if you even want to try and fool moderate mustang enthusiasts.
