Go to autozone or any other auto store and get them to test your battery

Probably battery, but when the alternator isn't charging you'll get that light as well. Check your connections.

Mine did that repeatedly, whether at idle or driving. Auto/Reilly's have doohickeys that can test the starter/alt/batt while still installed in the car. FWIW i got my replacement alt from ebay (for under $110 shipped) after months of putting up with it, installed a few months back and (knocks wood) works like a champ.

The connection to the battery is tight and I think it could b the alternator goin bad b/c that can drain the battery also so I'm just going to stop by a auto store and see Wat the machine will say

That's the best route. When the time comes to replace, buy it from advance auto parts online if you have a local store, do a pick-up, and then use a coupon code. I usually end up saving around 30%
