What would cause a misfire at idle?

And only at idle? Like every 4-5 seconds you can hear a slight backfire sound through the exhaust and a little 100 rpm dip.

You put a load on the engine and the misfire goes away completely. Car pulls strong when driving. I didn't realize the car still pulls quick in 4th gear @ 50 mph

New plugs and coils, before those the misfire was more frequent and even caused it to stall when coming to a stop. After I installed the new parts the misfire is much less and the stalling issues have gone away.

Is the MAF screen still in place, any vacuum or exhaust leaks, is the EGR valve behaving as it should? All of these can affect idle and not throw any DTCs...
