Magnaflow tru x pipe

I looking to just cut my stock h pipe out and weld in an X pipe and I found the magnaflow tru x pipe. I was reading in the description that is "reduces unwanted exhaust noises" so does that mean it'll make it quieter? Here's the link below

I wouldn't go that route I would get a full x pipe of AM. If you do this you will still have cats unless you cut them out too. IMO just buy the full midpipe.

If I do the o/r mid pipe ill have to save my cats because I'm from California, I don't mid saving them, I just wanted to know if this would be a cheaper route, I can't spend the 600 on a carted mid pipe either. But will the full mid pipe bolt up to the factory car back? I had a couple of magnapacks put on and kept the stock exhaust pipe after the H pipe

So get a o/r mid and keep the stock mid pipe. the o/r mid will bolt up too the stock exhaust. If you had them welded in to replace to stock mufflers then everything will be fine. just swap out mids when you got to get the sniffer.
