You need to invest in an irs brace and diff bushings before doing anything else.

I completely forgot about it but I have a Billetflow IRS brace. I definitely want to do the FTBR bushing kit, just haven't had the time or money to do them.

Good deal. I was cutting 1.6 60' on my irs before I started bumping the launch rpm and snapping halfshafts.

Ftbr is definitely the way to go. I chose sra for what I was wanting out of the car for half the price of the ftbr kit.

Yeah I went IRS for the handling characteristics. I do drag race on it but I don't have the stickiest tires and try not get wheel hop when I launch.

So my friend bought a long block from this Motorsport here in town, I had asked him how much he would charge to install subframes to weld them , ( MM ) And he said he would mAke me some that would make MM look like crap, he said it will be way thicker and longer than the MM ones . He has them on his 9sec N/A Mach 1 , he quoted me 200 for parts/labor/paint
Good deal ?

Doesn't sound like a bad deal to me at all. As long as you trust his work etc.

As long as the work is solid and they are built straight and true then you're golden...I'd assume he will do a ladder or cross brace design.

-Cut stock springs lowered 2" front and 1.5" in rear
-KYB shocks and struts
-BBK strut tower brace
-Bolt-in subframe connectors

Soon to come:
-MM LCA's
-New bushings!!!!!
-Tubular K member and coil overs

As she sits with a set of Goodyear Eagles and she handles on rails. It's alittle rough, but I've never really cared about it. I've kept up with a few stock Porsche's and corvettes in the twistys, so not bad for a live rear axle, and what is done to it, IMO.
