IAC

Well I believe my iac is officially bad. So I was doing some reading and fixes to my idling problem. So I went ahead and got a new egr valve and that fixed my low idle problem and restored my lost power. Now, my rpms hang in between shifts and when coming to a stop for about 5-10 secs at around 1600 rpms. So I saw this test of troubleshooting your iac. I already cleaned it and that kinda helped at first but that was before the egr valve was replaced. So the test was to start and let it idle then to remove the sensor to the iac. If it still idles with that removed then the iac is faulty or dirty. I already cleaned it so obviously it has to be faulty. I checked for vac leaks and i don't think that it could be a leak cause I can wot and it still gets it. Please help ASAP thank you!

Ugh this sucks cause that part is like $85 at autozone too. I checked it when I got the egr valve. Idk of anything else that it could be. Everything seems to be performing fine. When I unplugged the sensor it idled normally an then when I revved it, it idled around 400 but still kept running. Does that Still mean the iac is bad?
