What kind of wax? I had the rear windows wax on my MX-6. It worked great for years!

Are you trying to use wax as a substitute for Rain-X?

Meguires lol

Lol. That's hilarious! There is a wax for glass. I really don't remember the name if it. Something fire or fire something. Can't really remember-sorry. But it was great!

So much for promoting something, I can't remember.

Try dawn dish detergent and get a medium stiffness brush to scrub window. Make sure the brush is not a metal one or it will scratch the glass.

Be careful with a brush. Don't want it to scratch the window.

Try one or both of these. Witch Hazel or Finger Nail Polish Remover without Acetone. Acetone will eat your paint.

Lol. This has me thinking of all sorts of products that could be used. If you go to Home Depot or any store that sells house paint, they usually sell a product called "Goof Off". It is for removing dried on house paint, stickers, etc.

If you have an Enterprise Rent A Car nearby, stop thru and ask for some glass cleaner or some degreaser. We use wax pens here to identify the cars or if something is wrong with the car we write the problem on the window. We remove it with glass cleaner or degreaser and a razor. Dealerships should have the same thing. Maybe you can ask someone at a dealership too.

For those who smoke (Yuck) use a cloth, a little water and some ashes. The ash is fine and acts like a smooth abrasive.
