Is it worth the change?

3.73 to 4.10s? Is it worth it?

4:10s will run your highway mpg down so I'd say no

If you dont have much money and can't afford the gas then don't drive a mustang period ..
I was never satisfied with 373s
I'd go 410

+1 I'm glad I went 4.10 the acceleration is unbeatable, the way I looked at it, we have to buy gas either way so I'd rather have more fun every tank then save 1-2 mpg, and I run a 93 tune for the same reason 3-5 dollars a tank to smile ear to ear every day is just worth it in my opinion, but then again it is my car I live with it everyday, it is your decision you drive it no me 😃

4.10s for a mostly stock motor. If you do a heavy build on your engine or supercharge it go 3.73

Slow4v and silvergt said it best. I have an auto with 4.10 and absolutely love it and I am also at 2700 at 75mph. Don't fear the gear lol. Kinda wish I would have got 4.30s. Plus if you can keep your foot out of it your gas won't plummet.

Its my summer/weekend car. The 3.73 are ok. And I'm gonna do a supercharger over the winter. Everyone tells me ill never catch traction with 4.10s and a SC. now I'm just like f it!! Learn to control the power, I didn't get this car to be a gas saver.

I got 4.10's on my 4.6 with a T-45. The acceleration is great, and I like em. However like others have stated if your on it a lot your MPG's could suffer. But the silver lining is to think about every prius owner you just made obsolete

The general rule is 4.10's for a stock auto, and 3.73's for a stock manual. But obviously that's not a code to live by.
