Upr o/r x pipe with flowmaster 40

I have the 40 series on the car now and my next purchase will be the mid pipe and i was just wondering whats people's opinions on this set up i watch the videos on YouTube and people say how loud they are and how they piss neighbors off but im guessing the videos dont do them justice because it doesn't sound that loud to me so i was just wondering what people's opinions are on the loudness of this set up
Thanks in advance

its not even that loud. i used to have an off road x and flow 40's and it sounds badass but it wasnt loud enough for me so i got slp's. but yeah man get that off road x ur gona love it compared to stock mid pipe. and its not too loud to piss off neighbors unless theyre just annoying people who over react lol

H pipe and flowmasters 44s sound great, but I will admit that borla stingers are on the list of upgrades for the near future.

Ugh. Lol flows and x pipe I say no. Get a h pipe or pro chamber. If you want loud then you're not gonna get it. I do like the sound of flows but not on a stang. You can run it till you get tired if it but I high recommend h pipe or pro chamber

I think flows suck unless you're cammed. H or x off road will wake them up a bit though.

Have any of you see the crush orange gt with the flows and offroadx. It's just a rev in the driveway. It sounds right!

flowmasters sound best with an H-pipe. I've had Mac, flowmasters SLP and I currently have Borla Stingers combined with my basanni catless X. I'll never get any thing other than borla now

I have a pypes x that I bought off my friends almost new. We both have sixes and when he had the pypes x with slp cat back on his...it SCREAMED! That thing was monstrous loud. It made neighbor's baby cry...It usually starts to get sweetly loud at around 3k rpm. And you can tell ob high rpms the deep rumble comes from around the x pipe area. I'm soon gonna put it on mine but with American Thunder cat back

---------- Post added at 04:35 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:34 PM ----------

Oh and I also heard about fitment of the pypes x and alot of people say its a hit or miss thing with it and my friends fit perfectly

I think the pypes x is a very good deal for the price compared to mac or bbk etc. If you look up setups on YouTube the pypes has a nice rasp to it but the flowmasters deepen the exhaust so it sound really nice
